About Us
The Longevity Foundation was inspired in 1992 by Patrick Howard, a five year old boy who was diagnosed with a rare degenerative genetic disorder called ataxia-telangiectasia or A-T. A-T causes an internal premature aging process of the nervous and immune systems. Our foundation, originally named The A-T Project, supports biomedical research that will lead to the prevention and cure of neuro- and immuno-degenerative diseases, including cancer. Patrick died in August 2000 of complications related to his disease, but his spirit lives in the work of the Foundation.

Mission Statement
Our goal is to promote human life with quality, free from premature and debilitating disease.
